Freddie Prince Jr. He was a big star in the movie Scoopy-Doo 2
His father, Freddie Prinze Sr., was an actor who was best known for his role on the television show Chico and
the Man. Unfortunately, his father committed suicide when Freddie Jr. was only 10 months old, and he never really had the
opportunity to get to know him. Still, the father's legacy lived on through the son, and from a very early age Freddie Jr.
showed an interest in make-believe and acting.
Freddie Prince Jr.
grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from high school, Freddie moved to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a
star. Prinze landed in Hollywood at just the right time. The industry was prepping for a surge in teen-oriented programming.
His big break came when he starred as a punk kid on an episode of the television series 'Family Matters'. His real break came
when he starred opposite Clair Danes in the movie 'To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday'.
Freddie's role in the films has proven fortunate, as they have given the visibility that is necessary for any wannabe
star. Freddie is probably recognized most from his role as Ray in the horror flick 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'. Since
then Freddie has appeared in such movies as 'She's All That', 'Wing Commander', 'Boys and Girls', and most recently 'Summer
Catch'.
